Direct Report:                          Front of House Manager/Front of House Supervisor
Hours of Work:                        Variable, including out-of-hours and weekends
Employment Conditions:  Casual
Remuneration:                         £8.50/hour
Location:                                     Coronation Hall, Ulverston

As a member of the Coronation Hall Bar Staff, you will play a key role in providing amazing experiences for our guests.
You will be the face of our business for every guest that walks through our door so we’re looking for Bar Staff who enjoy working with people and are passionate about delivering the highest standards of customer service.
As part of our Bar Staff team you will be working closely with and responsible for the supervision of our Bar Volunteers to ensure their experience is enjoyable and rewarding.
As no two days at the Coro are the same, you’ll need to be able to think on your feet.

• Contribute to continuous improvement of every area of Coronation Hall’s operations
• To be able to work under pressure during busy periods
• Responsible for taking orders and making recommendations to suit guests needs
• Serving a range of drinks and taking interval orders
• Taking pride in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and safety
• Working with the bar and volunteer team to create a friendly atmosphere
• Keeping the bar and cellar clean, tidy and fully stocked
• Attend regular bar meetings and contribute where possible

You must have the following skills and experience:

• Minimum 1+ year working on bars with demonstrable skills
• Passionate about working in hospitality
• Great eye for detail
• Enjoys being an active member of a team
• Excellent verbal communication
• An understanding of what amazing guest service looks like
• Being flexible, adaptable and able to use your initiative
• Commitment to UCE’s mission, vision, values, aims, objectives and equal opportunities
• To be able to work the unsocial hours required of the role – predominately evenings
