Paprika: Ulverston International Music Festival

Paprika: Ulverston International Music Festival: Saturday 17 June:7.30pm: Coronation Hall

Hailing from Romania, Serbia and the UK, Paprika unite traditional Eastern European, Balkan, Gypsy and Classical Music. The band focuses on bringing rare and lost traditional Balkan music back to life, and has appeared on BBC World on 3 and Radio 5 Live in addition to performances at Kings Place London, the Bradford Festival and Cheltenham Music Festival.

Combining violin, accordion, guitar, bass and percussion, Paprika offer an energetic evening of toe-tapping music exploring a variety of performance traditions. Popular folk favourites presented alongside classical repertoire mean there is something for everyone in this unmissable Festival finale.
