Located only 30 minutes from the M6 Coronation Hall is ideally situated at the heart of South Cumbria and available for a wide range of uses. Today a restored and modernised Coronation Hall offers some of the best reception facilities in South Cumbria.

Coronation Hall is situated next to the A590 trunk road which runs through Ulverston.

How to get here by Car: LA12 7LZ

The Hall is situated adjacent to the A590 trunk road which runs through Ulverston.

Take junction 36 off the M6 motorway, travel along the A590 for approximately 23 miles. As you enter Ulverston you will see a Booths Supermarket, continue along the main road and across another roundabout to a set of traffic lights. Coronation Hall is on your right hand side. Turn right at the lights and around the small roundabout. You can drop off directly outside the front entrance to the theatre and/or continue to a car park.

Ulverston Railway station is approximately 10 minutes walk from the theatre. For Train timetables please visit the trainline.

We at Coronation Hall c/o Ulverston Community Enterprises provide the following to ensure staff and customer access:

  • Follow disability law

  • Speak to disabled users to ensure appropriate access can be provided

  • Flat floor access throughout the ground floor

  • Accessible toilet on ground floor

  • Lift access to first floor Supper Room

  • There are stairs to balcony and stage

  • During our refurbishment we are taking intellectual and impaired access into consideration

  • We unfortunately do not have a permanent loop hearing system

We strive to be as accessible as possible at the Coronation Hall, taking into consideration the structure of the 100 year old building and welcome suggestions to improve our facilities and services where possible. We are continually seeking funding for improvement to our facilities
