Interested in becoming a volunteer for the Coro?

The Coronation Hall is owned, operated and maintained by Ulverston Community Enterprises and offers a year-round programme of entertainment including live music, theatre, ballet and family events, as well as providing a lively and popular community venue.

Volunteers play a vital part in the delivery of the events and activities we offer and we’d love to hear from you if you are interested in volunteering with us.

 At present, volunteer roles include:

• Meet and greet
• Event stewarding
• Bar volunteers
• Box Office volunteers
• Tea and coffee volunteers
• Blogging
• Photography
• Stage Hand / Lifting and shifting
• Survey volunteers
• Cleaning and caretaking volunteers
• Technical
• Administration
• Reception

Volunteering at The Coro will not only give you new skills, social opportunities and experience for your CV or job applications, you will also receive invites to volunteer-only activities and your contribution will be greatly appreciated by the Coro team.

Depending on the role, volunteering could take place during the week or at weekends, during the day, or late evening.
Some roles work better with a regular commitment, others are for specific events such as shows or Christmas events, but you can volunteer when it suits you.

The Coro is just a short walk from the railway station in Ulverston and very easy to find.
